From February 14, most students in grades 6, 7, 8, 10, and 11 will no longer have extra classes at school.
This is to implement Circular 29/2024/TT-BGDDT of the Ministry of Education and Training regulating extra teaching and learning, which officially took effect from February 14.
Accordingly, there are only 3 subjects that teach and study extra in schools but are not allowed to collect money from students, including: students whose final semester's study results are not satisfactory; students selected by the school to foster excellent students; final year students who voluntarily register to review for entrance exams and graduation exams according to the school's education plan.
In particular, final year students in grades 9 and 12 will continue to maintain review work to prepare for the upcoming grade 10 entrance exam and high school graduation exam. Students in grades 6, 7, 8 and grades 10 and 11, if in need, will register for extra classes outside of school.
