Death penalty for the murderer of 3 women in Khanh Hoa

On the afternoon of October 31, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Court sentenced defendant Phan Danh Hung (born in 1986, residing in Dien Xuan commune, Dien Khanh district) to death for murder.

At the same time, continue to compensate 215 million VND to the family of the victim HTTD. For the remaining 2 victims, because the family did not request, the court did not consider.

According to the indictment, on the evening of June 1, Hung and his wife, LTTV (born in 1986, residing in the same locality), had a conflict. That same evening, Ms. V. took her daughter to the house of Ms. D.TA (Ms. V.’s biological mother) next to Hung’s house to sleep. Hung went out and ate, then returned home to sleep alone.

At about 5:45 a.m. on June 2, Mrs. A. got up to go to the market, and Ms. V. went home to get things and met Hung. Ms. V. said she did not want to live with Hung anymore and went back and forth to Mrs. A.'s house. Hung was angry and had the idea of ​​killing Ms. V., so he went to Mrs. A.'s house through the back door. Hung then took a knife and stabbed his wife, causing Ms. V. to collapse on the spot.

Hearing Ms. V.'s cry for help, Ms. V.'s nephew, LMN (born in 2004), ran down to the kitchen, shouted loudly, then ran to the side of the house to open the door, but was followed by Hung, dragged back, and stabbed to death. Hung returned to the bathroom and saw that Ms. V. was not dead, so he continued to stab his wife with a knife, left the knife on the table behind the bathroom, and went back to his house.

Discovering the incident, the neighbor, HTTD (born in 1976), stepped in to stop it, but was stabbed to death by Hung.

Immediately after learning about the incident, Khanh Hoa Provincial Police mobilized many forces and professional technical measures. Police dogs were also mobilized to the scene to assist.

At about 6:30 p.m. on June 6, Hung was arrested according to the wanted notice.
