Hiep Cat Commune Health Station (Nam Sach) devastated after storm, not yet repaired

After storm No. 3, the Hiep Cat Commune Health Station (Nam Sach, Hai Duong) which was already degraded is now devastated and has not been repaired.

More than a month after storm No. 3 made landfall, the vaccination room of Hiep Cat Commune Health Station had its roof completely collapsed and has not been re-roofed yet.

The remaining working blocks of this medical station are in a state of moldy, peeling, water-permeable walls; the hinges of the doors to the rooms are rusty, the windows are broken, the door frames are rotten, and are not safe...

Currently, 5 officers and employees of Hiep Cat Commune Health Station are working in cramped, damp rooms on the first floor of the functional building. The second floor of this building is almost unusable due to its deterioration and damage. The health station's hall is used as a vaccination room.

Hiep Cat Commune Health Station was built about 40 years ago. The local government has planned to build a new health station in another location, but it will probably take a long time to complete.
