Life turned upside down because of neighbor's factory spraying paint

The house of Ms. Nguyen Thi Hang's family in Doan Ket hamlet, Hoang Xa 3 village, Quyet Thang commune (Hai Duong city) is located next to the road from Quyet Thang commune to Tien Tien commune.

Since 2024, Mr. C's family, a neighbor next door to a furniture factory, started spraying PU paint, causing a strong smell. Mr. C's family's paint spraying place is located right behind Ms. Hang's house, so every time the factory is in operation, even though the doors are closed, the paint smell still flies everywhere along with dust.

Not only working during the day, sometimes Mr. C's family workshop also works at night, causing noise that affects the sleep of people around.

Ms. Hang’s family has two children, one in first grade and one 19 months old. Before the Lunar New Year 2025, the children kept coughing and tearing up every time the factory next door sprayed paint, so the family had to send them to their grandparents’ house in the village. But recently, the children started crying, so the family had to take them home and continue to be affected by the paint smell.

Ms. Hang's family met with Mr. C. to report this situation, and before the Lunar New Year 2025, they sent a petition to the People's Committee of Quyet Thang Commune (the petition was confirmed by the Head of Hoang Xa Village), but so far this situation has not been resolved.
