Handling TikTok accounts that attack and mock the two provinces of Hai Duong and Thua Thien Hue

In a recent article "separating Hai Duong province", the owner of this account proposed a "plan" for Hai Duong's districts, towns, and cities to merge into all neighboring provinces.

Some other articles said that Hai Duong has no unique identity, everything is bland and copied from other places' culture. "Here we only attack the two provinces of Hai Duong and Hue", commented in a post of this account.

The owner of this account also made some baseless comments. Specifically: On the morning of September 28, the National Assembly Standing Committee gave its opinion on the Project to establish Hue City under the Central Government, this account posted: "For the first time, Vietnam has a city under the Central Government that still begs and sucks the national budget; This morning, the National Assembly Standing Committee approved the establishment of Hue City under the Central Government as a temporary ticket, a city of love...".

On October 1, 2024, Thua Thien Hue Newspaper published an article "Beware of derogatory and inciting arguments that cause regional division", warning the TikTok account "Hai Duong Xau Sac" and a number of satellite accounts posting videos with content of "dissatisfaction" with Resolution No. 54, downplaying the efforts of the Party Committee, government and people of Thua Thien Hue province. Immediately, the above account posted content with a photo of the article title "Thua Thien Hue Newspaper does not fulfill its function as the Party's right-hand man to help Hue people develop, but hinders Hue's progress by publicly criticizing contributions to Hue's overall development process".

As of the morning of October 2, the account had 3,996 followers and 60,300 likes, meaning there are many other accounts that could have accessed the false content.
