A young man "broke through" the alcohol concentration control checkpoint, a Hai Duong police lieutenant colonel was injured.

At 9:30 p.m. on October 7, Working Group 151 of Hai Duong City Police patrolled, controlled, handled violations of alcohol concentration and prevented the gathering of teenagers, causing disorder, and fought against and handled all kinds of street crimes on Truong Chinh Street. They discovered a young man riding a Honda Vision with license plate 34B4-094.92 without a helmet, speeding from Thong Nhat Street towards the checkpoint.

The traffic police signaled the subject to stop the vehicle for inspection and alcohol concentration measurement. However, the subject did not comply and continued to drive the vehicle and flee forward. Lieutenant Colonel Dang Xuan Hoan, Captain of the Criminal Police Team (Hai Duong City Police) was in charge of commanding the working groups to coordinate and signaled the subject to stop the vehicle for inspection, but the subject still did not comply, and at the same time drove the vehicle straight, injuring comrade Hoan and requiring emergency treatment.

The task force controlled and arrested the subject and brought him to the Hai Duong City Police Headquarters for questioning. The subject is Nguyen Duc Hieu (born May 23, 2005), residing in Khanh Hoi residential area, Nam Dong ward, Hai Duong city.

Hai Duong City Police measured Hieu's alcohol concentration; the result was 0.375 mg/l of breath.
