Establishment of the Association of Former People's Police of Hai Duong province

On the morning of December 8, Hai Duong Provincial Police coordinated with the Steering Committee for the establishment of the Provincial People's Police Veterans Association to organize the Congress to establish the Hai Duong Provincial People's Police Veterans Association, term 2023-2028.

Lieutenant General Tran Van Nhuan, former Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the People's Public Security, Vice President of the Vietnam Association of Former People's Public Security Officers, spoke at the congress.

The predecessor of the Provincial People's Police Veterans Association is the Provincial Retired Police Club with more than 1,600 members.

Speaking at the congress, Lieutenant General Tran Van Nhuan acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the Steering Committee for the establishment of the Provincial People's Police Veterans Association. He requested the Provincial Police and the Provincial People's Police Veterans Association to pay attention to establishing district-level associations, ensuring compliance with principles, promoting the role of the association. The Congress elected 17 delegates to the Executive Committee and elected former Deputy Director of Hai Duong Provincial Police Nguyen Duc Hien to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial Association of Former People's Police Officers for the term.2023-2028.

At the congress, 10 retired police officers of the province were awarded the Third Class Fatherland Protection Medal by the President; 28 retired police officers were awarded certificates of merit by the Provincial Police Director for their outstanding achievements in organizing movement activities, contributing to building the force and ensuring security and order in the area.
