The whole country has supported the elimination of 106,189 temporary and dilapidated houses.
According to the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, from February 7 to 14, provinces and cities across the country supported the elimination of 106,189 temporary and dilapidated houses, an increase of 5,552 houses.
Of the total number of temporary and dilapidated houses supported for removal, 61,557 have been completed and 44,632 have been newly constructed, an increase of 1,686 and 3,866 respectively. Specifically, the whole country has supported 8,560 houses for people with revolutionary contributions, an increase of 1,130, of which 3,754 have been completed and 4,806 have been newly constructed.
Housing support under the two national target programs is 51,970 units, down 147 units; of which the number of houses completed is 32,687 units, and the number of houses under construction is 19,283 units. Housing support under the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses is 45,659 units, up 4,569 units; of which the number of houses under construction is 20,543 units, and the number of houses under construction is 25,116 units.
Also in the total number of leaky houses and temporary houses supported for removal mentioned above, the Mekong Delta region alone has 4,017 houses, of which Soc Trang province has 1,820, Ca Mau 843 houses, Dong Thap 876 houses...
The Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs also said that up to now, 58 localities have established provincial Steering Committees, of which 5 localities, namely Hanoi, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Vinh Phuc, and Ba Ria - Vung Tau, have not established them due to the lack of temporary or dilapidated houses, completing 100%.
Up to this point, 589/600 District Steering Committees have been established, an increase of 3 units, and only 1 locality has not yet established a District Steering Committee, which is Dien Bien province. In addition, 7,674/8,477 Commune Steering Committees have been established, an increase of 216 units, and 11 localities have not yet established a Commune Steering Committee, including: Hoa Binh, Dien Bien, Nam Dinh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue, Binh Thuan, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Ben Tre, Can Tho, and Kien Giang.
Regarding the promulgation of the Regulation, as of February 14, 48 localities (an increase of 1 locality) have promulgated it, while 9 localities have not yet promulgated it, including: Hoa Binh, Nam Dinh, Quang Tri, Binh Thuan, Binh Duong, Long An, Dong Thap, An Giang, and Bac Lieu.
Regarding approval of demand, there are 33 localities (an increase of 2 localities). The localities that have approved demand include: Bac Lieu, Lao Cai, Ha Giang, Quang Binh, Ca Mau, Vinh Long, Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Hau Giang, Tay Ninh, Bac Kan, Thai Nguyen, Soc Trang, Tuyen Quang, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Son La, Kon Tum, Ninh Thuan, Cao Bang, Khanh Hoa, Can Tho, Ha Nam, Thai Binh, Tra Vinh, Long An, Hai Duong, Lang Son, Yen Bai, Binh Thuan, Quang Nam, Da Nang, Gia Lai.
59/63 localities have issued implementation plans, but 4 localities, Hanoi, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, and Vinh Phuc, have not issued plans due to the lack of temporary and dilapidated houses.
