Mobilizing maximum resources to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for poor and near-poor households
The monitoring delegation of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Duong province requested local authorities and socio-political organizations to mobilize maximum resources to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for poor and near-poor households.
9 localities of Hai Duong completed the target of building 15 houses each
By April 18, Hai Duong had 9 districts, cities and towns completing the construction of 15 new houses as requested by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Le Ngoc Chau.
Complete the removal of temporary and dilapidated houses before June 20
Chairman of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau requested localities to urge, support and speed up the implementation of the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, to complete it no later than June 20.
Hai Duong allocates nearly 81% of funding to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses
According to the Department of Construction, Hai Duong has allocated nearly 86.4 billion VND to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, reaching nearly 81% of the total funding requirement to implement the program.
Hai Duong will soon have no more temporary housing.
Hai Duong strives to have no more temporary or dilapidated houses 6 months ahead of the Government's plan.
Joy in new homes
The program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses has brought great joy to many meritorious people and the poor in Hai Duong when they can live peacefully in solid houses.
Nam Sach completed the repair of temporary and dilapidated houses the earliest in the province.
By April 10, Nam Sach was the first district in Hai Duong to complete house repairs in the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses.
The Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Duong province will soon allocate funds to support the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses.
The Hai Duong Provincial Fatherland Front Committee will allocate funds early to promptly support families before handing over housing projects in June.
By October 31, basically completed the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh requested provinces and centrally-run cities to resolutely direct efforts to basically complete the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide by October 31.
