Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee agreed with the proposal of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee on allocating funds to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses from mobilized and supported sources.
Accordingly, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee allocated more than 1.6 billion VND to 11 districts to support 41 households to remove temporary and dilapidated houses. Specifically, the districts of Ninh Giang, Tu Ky, Gia Loc, Thanh Mien, Thanh Ha, Cam Giang, Kim Thanh, Binh Giang each had 4 families supported; Hai Duong city, Kinh Mon town and Nam Sach district each had 3 households supported.
Responding to the campaign to raise funds to implement the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province, by March 13, the province's receiving account had received more than 5.2 billion VND in support. The provincial Fatherland Front Committee transferred 3.6 billion VND from the province's "Repaying gratitude" fund to support housing for people with meritorious services according to the sponsor's agreement, the remaining amount is more than 1.6 billion VND.
Previously, Hai Duong allocated 72.6 billion VND from the budget to support households building houses according to the Government's plan to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses.
According to Resolution No. 01/NQ-HDND dated February 20, 2025 of the Provincial People's Council, Hai Duong supports housing for families of meritorious people, relatives of martyrs, poor households, and near-poor households with a level of 100 million VND/new house and 50 million VND/repaired house. The support source comes from the central budget, provincial budget and socialization from the "Repaying gratitude" Fund and the "For the poor" Fund at the provincial level.
