Accordingly, from July 1, 2023, pensions, social insurance benefits and monthly allowances will increase from 12.5% to 20.8%.
Increase by 12.5% on pension, social insurance benefits and monthly allowances of June 2023 for subjects regulated by Decree No. 108/2021 of the Government adjusting pension, social insurance benefits and monthly allowances.
Increase by 20.8% on pension, social insurance benefits and monthly allowances of June 2023 for subjects not yet adjusted under Decree No. 108-2021 of the Government adjusting pension, social insurance benefits and monthly allowances.
From July 1, 2023, people receiving pensions, social insurance benefits, and monthly benefits according to regulations, after adjustment, with a benefit level lower than 3 million VND/month, will have their benefits adjusted to increase.
Specifically, an increase of 300,000 VND/person/month for those with a benefit level of less than 2.7 million VND/person/month.
Increase by 3,000,000 VND/person/month for those with benefits from 2,700,000 VND/person/month to less than 3,000,000 VND/person/month.
The pension, social insurance allowance, and monthly allowance after adjustment according to this regulation shall be the basis for calculating the adjustment of pension, social insurance allowance, and monthly allowance in subsequent adjustments.
Subject of adjustment
Decree adjusting pension levels, social insurance benefits and monthly allowances for beneficiaries of pensions, social insurance benefits and monthly allowances before July 1, including cadres, civil servants, workers, public employees and laborers, soldiers, police officers and people working in key positions who are receiving monthly pensions.
Commune, ward and town officials are prescribed in Decree No. 92-2009 of the Government, Decree No. 34-2019, Decree No. 121-2003 of the Government and Decree No. 9-1998 of the Government.
People receiving monthly allowances for loss of working capacity according to the provisions of law; people receiving monthly allowances according to Decision No. 91-2000 of the Prime Minister, Decision No. 613-2010; rubber workers receiving monthly allowances according to Decision No. 206-1979 of the Government Council.
Commune, ward and town cadres are receiving monthly allowances according to Decision No. 130-1975 of the Government Council supplementing policies and treatment regimes for commune cadres and Decision No. 111-1981 of the Council of Ministers.
Military personnel are receiving monthly allowances according to Decision No. 142-2008 of the Prime Minister and Decision No. 38-2010 of the Prime Minister.
People's police are receiving monthly allowances according to Decision No. 53-2010 of the Prime Minister.
Military personnel, people's police, and people working in secretarial work receive salaries similar to those of military personnel and people's police who are receiving monthly allowances according to Decision No. 62-2011 of the Prime Minister.
People receiving monthly occupational accident and disease benefits.
People receiving monthly pension benefits before January 1, 1995.
The subjects specified in the above points who retired before January 1, 1995, after making adjustments according to regulations, have a pension, social insurance allowance, and monthly allowance of less than 3 million VND/month.
