Prime Minister hands over decision to establish 15 party committees under the Government Party Committee

On the morning of February 24, at the Government headquarters, Politburo member, Secretary of the Government Party Committee, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired the Conference to announce the Government Party Committee's decision on the establishment of 15 Party Committees of ministries and agencies directly under the Government Party Committee.

At the conference, delegates heard the announcement of the Government Party Committee's decisions on the establishment of 15 Party Committees directly under the Government Party Committee, including Party Committees of ministries and agencies: Justice; Industry and Trade; Culture, Sports and Tourism; Foreign Affairs; Health; Education and Training; Finance; Construction; Agriculture and Environment; Science and Technology; Home Affairs; Ethnicity and Religion; State Bank; Government Inspectorate and Party Committees of advisory and support agencies of the Government Party Committee.

Along with the establishment of Party Committees, the Government Party Committee also has decisions on personnel participating in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Chairman, Deputy Chairman, and members of the Party Inspection Committee of the Party Committees directly under the Government Party Committee.

Speaking at the conference, Politburo member, Secretary of the Government Party Committee, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh requested Party Committees under the Government Party Committee to base on the Party Charter; principles of party organization and building; leadership methods of the Party and functions and tasks of the Party Committee and agencies, promptly perfect the internal organization and apparatus, develop working regulations, assign tasks, working relationships and coordination between Party Committees at all levels and between Party Committees and relevant agencies to ensure stable and effective operations of Party Committees according to the new organizational model.

Along with that, continue to organize well the Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress according to Directive 35 of the Politburo; proceed to rearrange and reorganize facilities and assets, ensuring rationality and stability; do well the ideological work, organizational work, and cadres in the process of operating the new apparatus, especially issues related to regimes and policies for cadres.

Secretary of the Government Party Committee, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that along with doing well the Party's work, from now until the end of 2025 and in the coming time, the Government Party Committee and its affiliated Party Committees have many things to do such as: Organizing well the country's major anniversaries; reviewing and promoting the completion of development goals for the entire 2021 - 2025 term; continuing to reorganize the apparatus in the political system according to Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW; resolutely and effectively implementing resolutions of the Central Committee, Politburo, National Assembly, Government, especially resolutions related to promoting economic growth, developing science and technology, innovation, digital transformation, implementing large-scale programs and projects.

Emphasizing the leadership, direction and comprehensive responsibility role of the Party Committee, ministries and agencies of the Party Committee Secretary, Ministers, Heads of ministries and ministerial-level agencies, the Party Committee Secretary and the Prime Minister requested the Party Committees, especially the heads, to promote the spirit of solidarity, unity, and exemplary leadership, with the motto "Party members go first", and strive to excellently complete assigned tasks.
