Social Insurance Region XII is headquartered in Hai Duong.

According to the Decision of the Minister of Finance, from March 1, Vietnam Social Security is a special unit under the Ministry of Finance, including 3 levels: Vietnam Social Security; Regional Social Security; Social Security of districts, towns, cities under provinces, centrally run cities, inter-district Social Security (collectively referred to as District Social Security).

Vietnam Social Security has 14 central advisory units, including 11 specialized units and 3 public service units.

The regional social insurance under the Vietnam Social Security is organized into 35 regions. Of which, the regional social insurance XII manages the area of ​​Hai Duong and Quang Ninh provinces with its headquarters located in Hai Duong.

Regional Social Insurance has legal status, its own seal and account according to regulations; is organized with an average of no more than 10 staff offices.

District Social Insurance also has legal status, its own seal and account according to regulations. The number of district Social Insurance units shall not exceed 350. District Social Insurance units shall not have an internal apparatus.
