4,600 more candidates registered for admission to Hai Duong University

The reason for the sharp increase in the number of applications is due to the effectiveness of the merger of Hai Duong College into Hai Duong University.

In 2024, Hai Duong University will enroll about 1,800 students for university and college level majors in preschool education. 12 pedagogical majors will enroll about 1,200 students, of which the college level preschool education major will enroll more than 100 students. The school has announced the minimum score (threshold to ensure input quality) for regular university admission based on the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam for 10 pedagogical majors: 19 points; physical education major: 18 points; preschool education major: 17 points.

Hai Duong University has just awarded graduation certificates to 525 students of the 2021-2024 full-time college program in early childhood education and the 2022-2024 joint program, of which more than 2% of excellent students were awarded, nearly 98% graduated with good or excellent grades. Of these 525 students, about 40% are from Hai Duong.

In recent years, the school's training has been strongly innovated in the direction of approaching professional competence. In particular, with the advantage of having an affiliated kindergarten, students have many conditions to participate in practice and internship, linking theory with reality. Thereby, helping students improve their professional knowledge, social knowledge as well as communication skills and professional skills. While Hai Duong is lacking preschool teachers, this will be one of the places providing quality human resources in the near future.
