Hai Duong University is about to have a 100 billion VND lecture hall

The People's Council of Hai Duong province has issued a resolution on deciding on the investment policy for the project to build a lecture hall at Hai Duong University with a total cost of 100 billion VND.

The project is implemented on the campus of Hai Duong University in Lien Hong Commune (Hai Duong City). The lecture hall will be built with a total floor area of 6,900 m². In addition, there will be technical systems, outdoor landscapes, and auxiliary works.

The project is invested by the Hai Duong Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board with an estimated investment of 100 billion VND from the provincial budget in the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021-2025. The project implementation period is 2024-2025.

The investment in building lecture halls aims to meet the classroom needs of Hai Duong University after merging Hai Duong College into Hai Duong University, while improving the quality of training and teaching of the school.

Hai Duong University is a public training institution under the People's Committee of Hai Duong province. In 2023, Hai Duong College merged with Hai Duong University to become Hai Duong University. After the merger, the school has promoted the strengths of the two schools, streamlined the focal points; trained university-level teachers and opened new majors. Hai Duong University currently trains 22 majors at the regular university level, including 11 majors in teacher training.
