Department of Science and Technology abolished 2 and added 1 new administrative procedure

Currently, the Department of Science and Technology is handling 53 administrative procedures.

The new administrative procedure is to register for conformity declaration for domestically produced products, goods, services, processes, and environments managed by national technical regulations issued by the Ministry of Science and Technology. Accordingly, within 5 working days from the date of receipt of valid dossiers, the inspection agency shall issue a notice of receipt of the conformity declaration registration dossier to the organization or individual declaring conformity.

The two abolished procedures are registration of conformity declaration for products, goods, services, processes, and environments managed by national technical regulations issued by the Ministry of Science and Technology based on the results of conformity certification by the certification organization; registration of conformity declaration for products, goods, services, processes, and environments managed by national technical regulations issued by the Ministry of Science and Technology based on the results of self-assessment by production and business organizations and individuals. The reason is that it is no longer suitable according to the provisions of Decree No. 74/2018/ND-CP dated May 15, 2018 of the Government amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 132/2008/ND-CP dated December 31, 2008 of the Government detailing the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Product and Goods Quality.

After adding new and abolishing procedures, the Department of Science and Technology is handling 53 administrative procedures.
