Decision to impose a fine on Bac Binh Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company

On July 4, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Luu Van Ban signed a decision to administratively sanction Bac Binh Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company (Nam Sach town). This enterprise was fined 160 million VND for producing fake fertilizers. In addition to the administrative fine, Bac Binh Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company must take remedial measures and pay back the illegal profits gained from the violation, which is 18.8 million VND.

Previously, on June 6, Market Management Team No. 5 (Hai Duong Market Management Department) conducted an inspection at Bac Binh Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company. The inspection results showed that all 2 batches of fertilizer including 108 bags of 25 kg/bag of Bac Binh NPK5-10-3+8S medium-weight supplementary fertilizer, produced on January 14, 2023 and 52 bags of 25 kg/bag of Bac Binh NPK 5-10-3+8S medium-weight supplementary fertilizer, produced on January 31, 2023, produced by Bac Binh Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company and circulated on the market were counterfeit goods in terms of use value and function.

On June 16, Market Management Team No. 5 made a record of administrative violations in commercial activities, production, trade of counterfeit and prohibited goods and protection of consumer rights against Bac Binh Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company. Because the authority to sanction administrative violations in the above case exceeded the authority of the Director of Hai Duong Market Management Department, Hai Duong Market Management Department submitted to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to issue a decision on sanction.
