On the morning of July 3, at 62 Trang Tien, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi, the General Department of Market Management opened the Exhibition Hall with the theme "Identifying Real and Fake Food." This is the 12th time the Exhibition Hall has opened to welcome visitors to learn about product information and equip them with knowledge to distinguish real and fake goods on the market.
According to the leader of the General Department of Market Management, in addition to the core task of inspecting and punishing violations, the market management force wishes to create a reliable address, helping visitors have the opportunity to directly learn about the products that the authorities detect and handle, thereby raising awareness, as well as experience in choosing goods and reliable addresses for safe shopping.
With the theme “Identifying Real and Fake Food”, the General Department of Market Management’s showroom displays over 400 products, the main highlights being food and foodstuffs such as Ong Cua rice, Ngon Nhat rice, Seng Cu rice, soybeans, Pediasure milk powder, Glucerna milk powder, Abbott Grow milk powder, Ensure Gold milk powder, Hubba Bubba candy, Nguyen Ninh green rice cake, honey and many other products in the beverage and functional food sectors. These are essential products, in high demand, consumed by people every day.
In particular, the Gallery dedicates a prominent space to display gold jewelry products that have violated regulations and been recently discovered and handled by market management forces.
These products mainly infringe on the intellectual property rights of registered brands such as Chanel, LV, Cartier... This is one of the hot areas, of special interest to the Government and the people.
In addition, the showroom also displays products discovered and seized by the Market Management Departments of Hanoi, Ha Giang, Vinh Phuc, Bac Ninh, Ha Nam, Thanh Hoa provinces and cities in recent major inspections, such as counterfeit Thien Long brand pens, shampoos, fabric softeners of Comfort, Romano, Sunsilk, OMO brands, etc., so that people can know and identify signs of violations.
When visiting the Exhibition Hall, visitors will be directly guided by experts from the General Department of Market Management on how to identify basic signs of genuine and fake products on the products on display.
The gallery will be open to visitors for free information from July 3 to July 7, 2024. Opening hours are from 9am to 5pm daily.
