Director of Ptro Motor Company Limited in Cam Giang was prosecuted for producing counterfeit goods.

Previously, at 2:20 p.m. on April 19, the Working Group of Cam Giang District Police inspected and discovered that Nguyen Van Phuong (born in 1982 in Phuc A village, Cam Phuc commune) was engaged in the production and packaging of a number of engine oil products. During the inspection at the production site, warehouse and private home of Nguyen Van Phuong, the police discovered and seized 1,478 bottles of 4T SAE 20W-50 API:SG internal combustion engine oil, brand KATECHV, of Ptro Motor Company Limited, suspected to be counterfeit.

The investigation agency identified Nguyen Van Phuong as the Director and legal representative of Ptro Motor Company Limited, headquartered in Tan Truong Industrial Park (Cam Giang).

From December 2023 to April 2024, Nguyen Van Phuong produced 4T SAE 20W-50 API:SG internal combustion engine oil under the KATECHV brand of Ptro Motor Company Limited by purchasing ready-made engine oil from another company, decanting and bottling it, but did not test the quality indicators of the above internal combustion engine oil products according to national technical regulations. This product was sold on the market for the purpose of making a profit.
