Main contents of the National Assembly's Supervision Program in 2025

National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man signed to certify Resolution No. 130/2024/QH15 on the National Assembly's Supervision Program in 2025.

Regarding the content of the Supervision Program, at the 9th Session, the National Assembly reviewed the Government's reports on: additional assessment of the results of the implementation of the socio-economic development plan and state budget in 2024; the implementation of the socio-economic development plan and state budget in the first months of 2025; the state financial report in 2023; the state budget settlement report in 2023; the report on thrift practice and waste prevention in 2024; the implementation of the national goal on gender equality in 2024.

The National Assembly also reviewed the report of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the results of supervising the settlement and response to voters' petitions sent to the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly; and conducted questioning and answering questions of National Assembly deputies.

At the 9th Session, the National Assembly reviewed reports on: Implementation of Resolution No. 106/2023/QH15 dated November 28, 2023 of the National Assembly on piloting a number of specific policies on investment in road construction; implementation of Resolution No. 93/2019/QH14 dated November 26, 2019 of the National Assembly on investment policy for the Ka Pet Reservoir Project, Ham Thuan Nam District, Binh Thuan Province; implementation of Resolution No. 135/2020/QH14 dated November 17, 2020 of the National Assembly on changing the purpose of forest use to implement the Than River Reservoir Project, Ninh Thuan Province and the Ban Mong Reservoir Project, Nghe An Province...

At the 10th Session, the National Assembly reviewed the Government's reports on: Results of the implementation of the socio-economic development plan, state budget for 2025 and the socio-economic development plan, state budget estimates, central budget allocation plan for 2026; implementation of the public investment plan for 2025 and the expected plan for 2026; Results of the implementation of the National Assembly's resolutions on the 5-year plan for the period 2021-2025: socio-economic development; economic restructuring; medium-term public investment; national finance and borrowing and public debt repayment; Results of the implementation of the National Assembly's resolutions on approving investment policies for the period 2021-2025: National target program on new rural construction; National target program on sustainable poverty reduction; National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas.

The National Assembly reviewed reports on corruption prevention and control; crime and law violation prevention and control; judgment enforcement; implementation of social insurance policies and regimes, management and use of the Social Insurance Fund in 2024; management and use of the Health Insurance Fund in 2024; results of the implementation of Resolution No. 68/2013/QH13 dated November 29, 2013 of the National Assembly on promoting the implementation of health insurance policies and laws, towards universal health insurance in 2023 and 2024; results of activities and management and use of the Tobacco Harm Prevention and Control Fund in 2023 and 2024.

At the 10th Session, the National Assembly will consider the implementation of the National Assembly's resolutions on Long Thanh International Airport; the implementation of Resolution No. 66/2013/QH13 dated November 29, 2013 of the National Assembly and Resolution No. 63/2022/QH15 dated June 16, 2022 of the 3rd Session, 15th National Assembly on the implementation of Resolution No. 66/2013/QH13 on adjusting a number of contents and solutions to continue effectively implementing the investment policy for the construction of Ho Chi Minh Road; the implementation of Resolution No. 44/2022/QH15 dated January 11, 2022 of the National Assembly on the investment policy for the North-South Expressway Construction Project in the East for the period 2021-2025.

The National Assembly also considered the implementation of Resolution No. 56/2022/QH15 dated June 16, 2022 of the National Assembly on the investment policy of the Ring Road 4-Hanoi Capital Region construction investment project; the implementation of Resolution No. 57/2022/QH15 dated June 16, 2022 of the National Assembly on the investment policy of the Ring Road 3 construction investment project of Ho Chi Minh City; the implementation of Resolution No. 58/2022/QH15 dated June 16, 2022 of the National Assembly on the investment policy of the Khanh Hoa-Buon Ma Thuot Expressway Construction Investment Project, Phase 1; the implementation of Resolution No. 59/2022/QH15 dated June 16, 2022 of the National Assembly on the investment policy of the Bien Hoa-Vung Tau Expressway Construction Investment Project, Phase 1; Implementation of Resolution No. 60/2022/QH15 dated June 16, 2022 of the National Assembly on investment policy for the Chau Doc-Can Tho-Soc Trang Expressway Construction Investment Project, Phase 1.

The National Assembly reviewed reports including: the implementation of Resolution No. 61/2022/QH15 dated June 16, 2022 of the National Assembly on continuing to strengthen the effectiveness and efficiency of implementing policies and laws on planning and a number of solutions to remove difficulties and obstacles, speed up the progress of planning and improve the quality of planning for the 2021-2030 period; the implementation of Resolution No. 74/2022/QH15 dated November 15, 2022 of the National Assembly on promoting the implementation of policies and laws on practicing thrift and combating waste; the implementation of Resolution No. 99/2023/QH15 dated June 24, 2023 of the National Assembly on thematic supervision of the mobilization, management and use of resources for COVID-19 prevention and control.

The National Assembly also reviewed reports on: the implementation of policies and laws on primary health care and preventive medicine; the implementation of Resolution No. 108/2023/QH15 dated November 29, 2023 of the National Assembly on thematic supervision of "Implementation of resolutions of the National Assembly on National Target Programs on new rural construction for the 2021-2025 period, sustainable poverty reduction for the 2021-2025 period, socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas for the 2021-2030 period"; the implementation of Resolution No. 111/2024/QH15 dated January 18, 2024 of the National Assembly on a number of specific mechanisms and policies to implement National Target Programs.

In addition, at the 10th Session, the National Assembly reviewed the Government's report on the results of citizen reception, handling of administrative complaints and denunciations by state administrative agencies at all levels, the Supreme People's Court, the Supreme People's Procuracy, and the State Audit; reports of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the results of supervision of the handling and response to voters' petitions sent to the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly; results of citizen reception, handling of petitions and supervision of the handling of citizens' complaints and denunciations sent to the National Assembly.

The National Assembly also considered reports of members of the Government, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court, Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuracy, and State Auditor General on the implementation of a number of resolutions of the 14th and 15th National Assembly terms on thematic supervision and questioning; and conducted questioning and answering questions of National Assembly deputies.

In addition, the National Assembly reviewed the thematic supervision report on "Implementation of policies and laws on environmental protection since the Law on Environmental Protection 2020 took effect"; reviewed reports of the Government, the Supreme People's Court, and the Supreme People's Procuracy on the implementation of the Constitution, laws, ordinances, and resolutions of the National Assembly and the National Assembly Standing Committee...

The National Assembly assigned the National Assembly Standing Committee to direct the organization of thematic supervision on "Implementation of policies and laws on environmental protection since the Law on Environmental Protection 2020 took effect," reporting to the National Assembly at the 10th Session; directly organize thematic supervision on "Implementation of policies and laws on development and use of human resources to meet the requirements of socio-economic development, especially high-quality human resources"; preside over the issuance of plans and organize the effective implementation of this resolution.
