The arrest of Pham Quang Linh (commonly known as Quang Linh Vlogs) and Nguyen Thi Thai Hang (Hang Du Muc) by the Ministry of Public Security's investigation police agency for defrauding customers has attracted public attention recently.

Pham Quang Linh was born in 1997 in Nghe An. After graduating from high school, Linh went to work in Angola. Here, Linh filmed videos of his experiences about the lives of local people, helping them reclaim wasteland, grow rice and potatoes, donate household appliances, and help the needy...

The image of a Vietnamese man tanned by the African sun and wind, full of compassion, has won the hearts of many Angolan and Vietnamese people. With his meaningful work, Quang Linh was elected as a member of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term X, 2024-2029.

From gaining the trust of many people, Quang Linh moved to livestreaming to sell products online and attracted the trust of many people. Especially in his livestream programs, there is interaction with another famous character on the internet, Hang Du Muc. The duo has combined into the team "Chi Em Rot".

Many sellers want to invite this duo to livestream to promote and sell their products. A cousin of mine who specializes in teddy bear production has also tried every way to contact and get Quang Linh Vlogs and Hang Du Muc to livestream their products on the e-commerce platform. And my cousin's sales have been significantly more effective since then.

Therefore, the arrest of Quang Linh Vlogs and Hang Du Muc has shocked many people because they thought that people who do many good things cannot do such dishonest things.

I was also quite shocked and surprised. Because before that, because of trust, I had also inboxed to order the product that Quang Linh Vlogs and Hang Du Muc advertised as Kera vegetable candy. However, before I could buy it, the authorities discovered the above fraud.

In recent days, after Quang Linh was arrested, "netizens" dug up a video of his that was said to have been made about 3 years ago, when he fired a member of the African team for showing signs of dishonesty. In it, Quang Linh said: "No matter where you work, don't let the people around you lose trust, you will never be able to do anything. Once you lose trust, you will just doubt each other. That won't last long, so I decided to be straightforward. Money lost can be earned back, but lost trust can never be earned back. Once you lose trust, it's hard to trust again. Don't believe anything you say."

From Quang Linh's words, we can see that Linh's loss of trust is a form of stepping on her own feet. It should have been a lesson in her journey to build her career, but Linh did not appreciate it. Quang Linh is paying a high price for that.

Since ancient times, Vietnamese people have had a saying "once untrustworthy, forever untrustworthy", advising us to keep our promises and keep our trust because once we lose the trust of others, it is very difficult to regain it. Lost money can be found, but trust cannot. Do not betray trust for small immediate benefits, the price to pay is really expensive, sometimes lasting a lifetime.

This is a lesson for Quang Linh Vlogs but also a lesson for us in maintaining ethics, lifestyle, especially how to behave, and respect personal honor. Let's take it as a lesson to not harm ourselves in keeping our reputation, avoiding paying a high price.
