In the 2024-2025 school year, first graders in Hai Duong will return to school on August 22, about 2 weeks before the start of the new school year, 1 day later than in the 2023-2024 school year.
Preschoolers return to school on August 28, one day earlier than last year. Grades 2, 3, 4 and 5 return to school on August 29, one day later than last year. Students in the remaining grades return to school on August 29.
The opening day of the school year is unified throughout the province on September 5. In special cases, any unit that changes the opening day must report to the District Department of Education and Training (for kindergartens, primary schools and secondary schools); report to the District People's Committee (for Vocational Education - Continuing Education Centers); report to the Department of Education and Training (for high schools).
