Speaking at the conference, the Secretary of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee informed delegates about the socio-economic development, Party building and political system of Hai Duong.

Comrade Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Duc Thang said that in carrying out the inspection and supervision tasks, the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee always thoroughly grasps and implements the motto of "focused and key inspection"; expands supervision to strengthen violation prevention; focuses on complex, sensitive areas that are prone to violations; takes prevention and "construction" as the main focus, along with clarifying shortcomings and handling violations, also focuses on discovering, encouraging and promoting new, dynamic and creative factors. Since the beginning of the year, the Inspection Committees at all levels in Hai Duong province have inspected and supervised thousands of Party organizations and Party members; reviewed, disciplined and advised Party Committees to discipline hundreds of Party members and Party organizations that violated the law, contributing to building a clean and strong Party, promoting local socio-economic development.

The Secretary of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee emphasized that the conference was an opportunity for Hai Duong province and localities and units to exchange, share and learn good experiences, new and effective ways of performing tasks; at the same time, discuss and find solutions to remove difficulties and obstacles, unify methods and ways of implementation, especially for the new regulations of the Central Committee on the inspection and supervision work of the Party.

Hai Duong Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang thanked and hoped that Hai Duong would continue to receive leadership, direction, coordination, exchange and sharing from the leaders of the Central Inspection Commission and Department 1A in the work of inspection, supervision and implementation of local political tasks.

At the conference, delegates focused on discussing and clarifying the results and sharing solutions and experiences on effective methods in the inspection, supervision and enforcement of Party discipline by Party organizations, Party committees and Inspection Committees at all levels. The opinions also proposed and recommended solutions to remove some difficulties and obstacles in handling Party discipline for retired and transferred cadres; promulgating a system of sample professional documents on inspection and supervision work by Party committees; supplementing the staff for the Inspection Committees of Provincial Party Committees; strengthening training and fostering professional skills in inspection and supervision work, etc.

Concluding the conference, Mr. Tran Van Ron, Permanent Deputy Head of the Central Inspection Commission, acknowledged and highly appreciated the positive results, effective innovation and proactive close coordination between Party organizations, Party committees, Inspection Commissions at all levels and agencies and units in the work of inspection, supervision and enforcement of Party discipline.

The Standing Deputy Head of the Central Inspection Commission requested Party committees and Inspection Commissions at all levels in agencies, units and localities to continue to focus on implementing drastic and synchronous solutions to complete the assigned tasks; promptly complete the inspection of cases directed by the Central Committee, ensuring quality, efficiency and progress. Further enhance the responsibility of heads of Party committees, agencies, units and localities in inspection and supervision work. The Standing Deputy Head of the Central Inspection Commission noted that Party committees, Party organizations, and Inspection Commissions at all levels need to study, review, supplement, complete, and propose to supplement and complete regulations and procedures to improve the effectiveness of inspection, supervision, and enforcement of Party discipline; promptly inspect and urge Party committees and Inspection Commissions to complete inspections and supervisions according to the 2023 plan; strictly implement the conclusions and regulations of the Central Committee on inspection, supervision, and prevention of corruption and negativity. Along with regular inspection and supervision, Party committees and Inspection Commissions need to focus on inspections when there are signs of violations to prevent and stop violations; improve the effectiveness of handling petitions, complaints, and denunciations.

The Central Inspection Commission assigned the Department of Area 1A to monitor 24 units, including the Central Military Commission, the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Provincial Party Committees of Hai Duong, Yen Bai, Lang Son and Ninh Binh. Since the beginning of the year, Party committees, Party organizations and Inspection Commissions at all levels have closely followed political tasks, continued to pay attention to leading and directing the implementation of comprehensive inspection and supervision tasks in a spirit of urgency, seriousness, determination and efficiency; focused on performing inspection tasks when there are signs of violations to prevent violations. Inspection and supervision work is associated with the inspection and supervision of asset and income declaration. The settlement of denunciations and complaints is carried out promptly. Disciplinary enforcement work is basically ensured to be strict, in accordance with procedures, regulations, democracy and objectivity.
Through inspection and supervision, many Party organizations and Party members who violated the law were accurately and objectively concluded and strictly handled; helping the inspected and supervised Party organizations and Party members clearly recognize violations and shortcomings in order to correct and overcome them. The inspection, supervision and Party discipline enforcement work of Party organizations monitored by the Department of Area 1A contributes to effectively serving the work of Party building and rectification, and the fight against corruption and negativity.
