This afternoon, after 2 days of serious and urgent work, the 7th Conference of National Assembly Deputies working full-time to discuss a number of contents to be submitted to the National Assembly at the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly closed.
Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quang Phuong said that the 7th conference of full-time National Assembly deputies, term XV, took place in an urgent, exciting and highly responsible atmosphere.
In total, 61/73 National Assembly deputies expressed their opinions on 10 draft laws considered at the 9th Session, including 8 draft laws that were first commented on at the 8th Session and 2 draft laws submitted to the National Assembly for consideration and approval according to the procedure at a session (Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Product and Goods Quality and the Law on Personal Data Protection).
At the Conference, the drafting agencies also participated in explaining and reporting to clarify the contents of interest to the National Assembly deputies. “The National Assembly Standing Committee acknowledges and highly appreciates the full participation and high responsibility of the full-time National Assembly deputies and relevant agencies; the thoughtful preparation of content, the concise, succinct constructive opinions, and in-depth analysis of the full-time National Assembly deputies,” Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Quang Phuong emphasized.
Vice Chairman of the National Assembly said that Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man informed at the opening day of the Conference that the upcoming 9th Session has an important and historic significance for the development of the country. The amount of content is large, according to preliminary statistics, there are 42 legislative tasks, about more than 20 tasks to decide important issues of the country. Among them, there are also amendments to some articles of the Constitution, while the preparation time is shorter.
To contribute to the successful organization of the Session, after the Conference, the National Assembly Standing Committee requested that the drafting agencies continue to closely coordinate with the National Assembly agencies to organize the reception, promptly complete the dossiers and documents and send them to the National Assembly Deputies, ensuring that the National Assembly Deputies access the documents and contents submitted to the Session as soon as possible.
In the context that the entire political system is urgently "running and lining up" to carry out tasks of restructuring the apparatus, the Vice Chairman of the National Assembly requested that agencies closely follow the Conclusion and Resolution of the 11th Central Conference to coordinate to urgently update and complete other contents to submit to the National Assembly Standing Committee for comments before submitting to the National Assembly, especially amending the Constitution, laws, and resolutions on organizational apparatus.
Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Quang Phuong said that currently, the Government and agencies continue to prepare contents to be presented at the session. The National Assembly Standing Committee will continue to direct agencies to send documents as soon as possible. At the same time, he requested that National Assembly deputies proactively study as soon as documents are sent on the National Assembly App to prepare thoroughly and participate when the National Assembly presents; inform voters and people about the content of the 9th session at meetings with voters before and after the session so that people and voters can share and support the contents considered and decided by the National Assembly.
