Female suspect indicted for murdering lover with cyanide and driving to Bao Loc pass

On October 28, according to information from Lam Dong Provincial Police, the Provincial Police Investigation Agency has initiated a case, prosecuted the accused, and temporarily detained Tran Nguyen Thu Trang (39 years old, residing in Cao Lanh City, Dong Thap Province) to investigate the act of "murder".

The decisions on the case and prosecution of the accused were approved by the People's Procuracy of Lam Dong province on the same afternoon.

Previously, Trang was arrested by Lam Dong Provincial Police and detained in an emergency to investigate the above-mentioned behavior. Trang is the suspect in the murder of Mr. MHV (39 years old, residing in Ho Chi Minh City) and then drove him to Bao Loc Pass (Lam Dong Province) to dispose of the body.

Previously, on October 21, many people traveling through Bao Loc Pass (section in Dai Lao commune, Bao Loc city), from Ho Chi Minh City to Da Lat, discovered a black car falling into the abyss and reported it to the authorities.

Rescuers arrived at the scene and brought Trang up from the bottom of the cliff with minor injuries. They also discovered that Mr. V. had died inside the car.

At the time of being brought to the road, Trang appeared to be unconscious, saying that she was the driver of the car, and Mr. V. was sitting in the passenger seat. When the authorities asked why she had driven the car back and forth on Bao Loc Pass many times, the female suspect did not answer. Trang was then taken to the hospital for care, while the authorities examined the scene. From the evidence collected, Trang later admitted that she was the one who poisoned Mr. V.

The female suspect said that she and Mr. V. had a relationship. Recently, the two had a conflict. Trang then went online and bought cyanide. Before poisoning Mr. V., the female suspect tested the cyanide she bought on a cat, causing the animal to die shortly after.

On October 20, while traveling from Cao Lanh City to Ho Chi Minh City, Trang used cyanide to poison Mr. V., causing his death, then transported the body to a house in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City, where she stayed overnight. The next day, Trang drove the victim's body to Lam Dong Province.

When arriving at Bao Loc Pass, Trang drove up and down the pass many times. When arriving at Dai Lao Commune, Trang drove the car carrying Mr. V.'s body into a deep ravine with the intention of committing suicide, but the car's airbag deployed, so the female suspect only suffered minor injuries.
