Prosecution of Director and Deputy Director of Cao Bang Province Road Motor Vehicle Training and Testing Center

On October 27, the Economic Police Department of Cao Bang Provincial Police decided to prosecute Do Trung Phuc (born in 1967, Director of the Cao Bang Provincial Road Motor Vehicle Training and Testing Center) and Nguyen Manh Hung (born in 1972, Deputy Director of the Center) for the crime of Forgery in work, as prescribed in Article 359 of the Penal Code.

The investigation results of the Police Agency determined that in 2021, the number of students registering to learn to drive at the Cao Bang Provincial Road Motor Vehicle Training and Testing Center increased dramatically compared to the previous year. The center did not meet the required number of practice instructors and practice vehicles.

Therefore, Do Trung Phuc and Nguyen Manh Hung directed employees to create documents and books for assignment and training monitoring that were not true to reality, with the purpose of legalizing the records for driving students to be eligible to take the vocational certificate exam and driving test.
The case is under further investigation.
