Prosecuted 2 subjects for falsifying player records at Song Lam Nghe An Club

Nghe An Provincial Police prosecuted two subjects for falsifying documents of agencies and organizations to allow some young players to "cheat on their age" to compete at Song Lam Nghe An Club.

The Investigation Security Agency of Nghe An Province Police said that the unit has just initiated a case and prosecuted Nguyen Thi Tu (born in 1984) for the crime of "Forgery of documents of agencies and organizations; Using forged documents of agencies and organizations" and Tran Quoc Dung (born in 1971) for the crime of "Forgery of documents of agencies and organizations". Both reside in Ky Son commune, Tan Ky district, Nghe An province.

Previously, Nghe An Provincial Police received information that some young players of Song Lam Nghe An Club "cheated their age" to be allowed to compete.

During the investigation, the police discovered that some relatives of the young players had forged documents such as birth certificates, school records, etc. so that the players would be eligible to be recruited, practice, and compete at Song Lam Nghe An Club.

Evidence seized by the police

At the investigation agency, Nguyen Thi Tu confessed that because she wanted her children and grandchildren to practice and compete at Song Lam Nghe An Club, Tu colluded with other subjects, including Tran Quoc Dung, to falsify documents and papers to deceive those responsible for Song Lam Nghe An Club and the authorities.

The case is under further investigation.
