Subject Tran Van Tu is from Bac Ninh and came to Hai Duong city to rent a room and produce fireworks.
The Investigation Police Agency of Hai Duong City Police has prosecuted Tran Van Tu (born in 2001, residing in An Tap commune, Luong Tai district, Bac Ninh province) for the crime of producing prohibited goods.
At about 12:30 p.m. on December 28, 2024, at a rented room in Vu La residential area, Nam Dong ward (Hai Duong city), a working group of Hai Duong City Police caught Tu red-handed manufacturing prohibited goods, firecrackers, with a total weight of 8.842 kg.
The seized evidence included 28 finished fireworks, wires and gunpowder. The subject confessed to producing fireworks to sell for profit.
Hai Duong City Police are continuing to investigate.
