Through the contest "A day as a young reporter on disaster prevention and control" will bring to Hai Duong secondary school students more knowledge and skills on disaster prevention and climate change.
The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Hai Duong requested the Department of Education and Training to preside over and coordinate with the People's Committees of districts, cities and towns to disseminate the rules and content of the contest "A day as a young reporter on natural disaster prevention and control" to secondary schools in the province to attract a large number of students to participate.
The contest "A day as a young reporter on disaster prevention and control" was organized by the Ministry of Education and Training, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) to implement the program of coordinating tasks on disaster prevention, control, and risk reduction in the education and training sector for the period 2024 - 2029.
This is an activityResponding to the International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction (October 13); creating a useful and creative playground for students through learning knowledge, practicing confident presentation skills, video editing skills and enhancing knowledge of disaster prevention, response to climate change.
The contest is open to junior high school students nationwide, aged 11-15. Contestants can register as individuals or groups; students from remote areas, ethnic minorities, disadvantaged students, and students with disabilities are encouraged to participate.
Contest videos must be 1-2 minutes long, in the form of a news report or report. The “young reporter” will record live video and audio for at least 20 seconds in the video.
