According to the report of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee, the land for planning research of Kim Thanh 2 Industrial Park belongs to Dai Duc Commune and Tam Ky Commune (Kim Thanh). The total planning area is 509.13 hectares. Of which, the industrial park planning area is 437.24 hectares; the area for planning research of infrastructure connection and neighboring residential areas is 71.89 hectares.

Kim Thanh 2 Industrial Park planning is divided into 2 phases: Phase 1 has an area of ​​234.63 hectares; Phase 2 has an area of ​​202.61 hectares.

The main functional areas of Kim Thanh 2 Industrial Park include administrative land, industrial park services, maximum construction density of 40%; land for factories, enterprises, warehouses, planning of industrial land lots, maximum construction density of 70%; technical infrastructure land, maximum construction density of 40%; land for police headquarters to ensure security and order, fire prevention and fighting, rescue and green land.
