Vietlott lottery jackpot of nearly 257 billion VND has an owner

Vietnam Computerized Lottery Company (Vietlott) has just announced that in the drawing on the evening of August 12, the Power 6/55 product had a Mobifone customer winning Jackpot 1 worth 256,972,522,350 VND.

The lucky number sequence that brings this bonus to the player is 13-24-39-43-45-52.

According to regulations, before receiving the prize money, the player who wins this Jackpot will have to pay personal income tax of about 25.9 billion VND. Thus, the amount of money that the prize owner receives is more than 231 billion VND.

This is the lucky player who won the Jackpot prize with the second largest prize money ever in Vietnam.

Speaking to reporters, Mr. Pham Ngoc Tu - Deputy General Director in charge of Vietlott operations - said that after 7 years of releasing the first product, Vietlott's total revenue has reached more than 33,000 billion VND and has paid out prizes of more than 18,000 billion VND.

In terms of Jackpot prizes alone, Vietlott has awarded 402 Jackpot winners. The biggest Jackpot winner in Vietnam to date is Mr. Q. from Hanoi with Jackpot 1 of Power 6/55 lottery worth up to more than 303 billion VND.

In addition to the distribution channel of lottery products at nearly 6,000 points of sale in 63/63 provinces and cities, Vietlott also sells tickets via phone channels with the Vietlott SMS support application.
