According to information from Vietnam Computerized Lottery Company (Vietlott), in the 1070th drawing of Power 6/55 lottery taking place tonight, August 6, Vietlott's Drawing Council determined that 1 customer won the Jackpot 1 prize of 228,605,423,700 VND (over 228 billion VND).
The lucky numbers in today's Power 6/55 lottery draw are 22-34-44-46-54-55 and the golden pair for Jackpot 2 is 14.
In today's drawing, Vietlott's system determined the Jackpot 2 prize value to be 5,189,420,300 VND.
A Jackpot 2 winning ticket is one that matches 5 out of 6 numbers of Jackpot 1 and the remaining number matches the lucky number randomly selected by Vietlott.
The Jackpot 1 winning numbers today are 22-34-44-46-54-55. The winning ticket for Jackpot 2 is the ticket that matches 5 of the 6 numbers above and number 14. In today's draw, no customer won Jackpot 2.
According to the regulations of the Ministry of Finance in Circular No. 111/2013/TT-BTC, the owner of the winning ticket will have to fulfill the tax payment obligation according to current regulations when receiving the prize.
Accordingly, the lucky customer who won the Jackpot 1 jackpot today will have to pay 10% personal income tax, equivalent to 2.29 billion VND. Thus, the amount of money that the Jackpot 1 winner will receive is nearly 227 billion VND.
