Vietlott found 2 tickets winning the billion-dollar jackpot

According to information from Vietnam Computerized Lottery Company (Vietlott), in the 1,125th drawing of Power 6/55 lottery taking place tonight, December 12, Vietlott's Drawing Council determined the value of Jackpot 1 prize to be 104,087,275,950 VND (over 104 billion VND). However, no player has won this jackpot yet.

But in today's drawing, Vietlott's system determined that there were 2 lottery tickets that won the Jackpot 2 prize. The value of this Jackpot 2 prize is 7,553,091,300 VND. Thus, this Jackpot 2 prize will be divided equally for each person, which is nearly 3.8 billion VND.

The lucky numbers in the 1,125th draw of the Power 6/55 lottery taking place today are 01 - 09 - 12 - 18 - 37 - 44 and the golden pair of numbers to compare Jackpot 2 is 11.

A Jackpot 2 winning ticket is one that matches 5 out of 6 numbers of Jackpot 1 and the remaining number matches the lucky number randomly selected by Vietlott.

The Jackpot 1 winning numbers today are 01 - 09 - 12 - 18 - 37 - 44. The winning Jackpot 2 ticket is the ticket that matches 5 of the 6 numbers above and number 11.

According to the regulations of the Ministry of Finance in Circular No. 111/2013/TT-BTC, the owner of the winning ticket will have to fulfill the tax payment obligation according to current regulations when receiving the prize.

Accordingly, the two lucky customers who won the Jackpot 2 jackpot today will have to pay 10% personal income tax, equivalent to nearly 380 million VND. Thus, the amount of money that each player receives is more than 3.4 billion VND.

Also in this drawing, Vietlott found 12 people who won first prizes, each worth 40,000,000 VND, 1,465 people won second prizes, each worth 500,000 VND, 29,841 people won third prizes, each worth 50,000 VND.

The prize claim period is 60 days from the date of announcement of the prize. After this period, the prize will be canceled and added to Vietlott's other income category.
