The facelifted Ranger and Everest models will be available at Ford dealerships in Australia as early as late next year.

According to an exclusive source from Drive, the Ford Ranger pickup truck and the Ford Everest D-size SUV will soon have a mid-life upgrade version. According to the plan, the facelifted versions of these two models will be available at Ford dealers in Australia in 2026 or at the earliest late next year.

In addition, Drive also revealed that the current generation Ford Ranger and Ford Everest will likely be discontinued in 2029 or 2030. If this information is correct, the current generation of Ford Ranger will only have a life cycle of 7 years, much shorter than the 11-year period of the previous generation.

Currently, detailed information about the facelift version of the Ford Ranger and Ford Everest has not been revealed. Drive also does not own any images related to the mid-life upgrade version of these two models.

As for the Ford Ranger, the mid-size pickup truck underwent two facelifts in 2015 and 2018, with a series of changes from details to overall exterior, interior, engine and technology equipped on the vehicle.

Drive notes that the images in the post, created by YouTuber Theottle, are speculative, based on what might appear on the next-generation F-150 pickup truck.

According to documents found by Drive, the facelifted versions of the Ranger and Everest are numbered MY2026, meaning the first vehicles will only arrive in the Australian market in 2026 or at the earliest in the months of the last quarter of next year.

Currently, the mid-size pickup segment is quite bustling with new versions of the Toyota Hilux and Nissan Navara expected to launch within the next 2 years, along with the possibility of an electric pickup model from the LDV brand.

Notably, Drive revealed that the Ford Ranger plug-in hybrid variant will be available in Ford showrooms in early 2025, but will retain the same exterior and interior as the current generation.

The next-generation Ford Ranger is expected to share the latest body-on-frame platform with the Ford F-150, which is also expected to see a new generation around 2030.

Meanwhile, reports say the Ford Ranger production line in the US serving customers in the North American region will be discontinued in April 2031.
