MG4 2024 electric car discounted up to nearly 300 million VND

Since the end of February, some MG dealers in the North have offered shocking promotions for the 2024 MG4 EV model and applied it to the highest-end Lux ​​version. The price of this version is 948 million VND but is currently trading at around 650 million VND, a decrease of nearly 300 million VND.

Dealership staff said the number of cars and colors are very limited. A representative of the MG distributor in Vietnam said this is not the company's policy.

Other MG dealers offer a 20 million VND discount for the MG4 EV with a 7 kW charger according to the company's policy. Some places want to increase liquidity and reduce the price by 10 million VND for customers. Currently, this model is also free to charge for 1 year at public charging stations of third parties that are partners of MG.

A reduction of 200 - 300 million VND is not uncommon in the Vietnamese car market. But in the B-class popular car segment, this is the highest level ever.

MG4 EV is positioned in the B-size CUV segment but has the appearance of a hatchback because of its low ground clearance of 150 mm (rival VinFast VF 6 is 170 mm).

The MG4 EV's motor is located on the rear axle, with a capacity of 168 horsepower in the Del version and 201 horsepower in the Lux version. The total traction is 250 Nm.

The low version has a capacity of 51 kWh, equivalent to a rolling distance of 350 km, comes with a 6.6 kW home charger, the car charges with AC power for about 7.5 hours to fully charge the battery. The Lux version has a 64 kWh capacity with a maximum operating range of 450 km, comes with an 11 kW charger, fully charged in about 6.5 hours.
