Investigating the case of a driver who killed 3 people and then committed suicide

According to initial information, at around 8:00 a.m. the same day, Bui Van Phu Hiep (35 years old, residing in Dinh Quan district) rode a motorbike to the house of Nguyen Cong Dat (owner of D.H. garage) in Hieu Liem commune, Vinh Cuu district.

Here, Hiep used a knife to attack Mr. Nguyen Cong Dai (63 years old, Dat's father) and Ms. Phan Thi Hang (32 years old, Dat's wife, both living in Hamlet 2, Hieu Liem Commune).

As a result, Mr. Dai died on the spot, Ms. Hang was taken to the hospital for emergency care but also died later.

After committing the crime, Hiep continued riding his motorbike to the city garage in neighborhood 8, Ho Nai ward, Bien Hoa city.

Upon arriving, Hiep entered the room of Ms. Nguyen Thi Quy (43 years old) to borrow her phone and suddenly attacked her with a knife, causing her to be seriously injured and die.

Next, Hiep stabbed himself with the intention of committing suicide but was discovered by people and taken to the hospital for emergency treatment.

Upon receiving the report, Vinh Cuu District Police coordinated with Dong Nai Provincial Police to go to the scene to conduct an investigation into the cause of the incident.

Initially, the police determined that Hiep worked as a driver for the D.H. bus company and lived with Dat's family. About a week ago, Dat let Hiep quit his job and move to another place, after which Hiep returned to commit the crime.
