On September 19, Hung Yen Provincial Police received a request from Hanoi City Police to coordinate in verifying and arresting Giap Thi Huyen Trang (born in 1996, residing in Chung Minh village, Viet Ngoc commune, Tan Yen district, Bac Giang province).
Trang is the suspect who kidnapped Nguyen HT (born in 2021, from Kinh Mon, Hai Duong, residing in Vinhomes Oceanpark urban area, Da Ton commune, Gia Lam, Hanoi) and demanded ransom.
Hung Yen Provincial Police directed professional departments, police of districts, towns and cities to coordinate with Hanoi City Police to apply synchronous professional measures to verify, arrest the suspect and rescue the child.
Through investigation, at about 11:30 a.m. on September 20, Hung Yen Provincial Police discovered T.'s body in a fish pond in the fields of Nhan Thap village, Me So commune, Van Giang district, Hung Yen.
Immediately after discovery, Hung Yen Provincial Police coordinated with Hung Yen Provincial People's Procuracy to examine the scene, perform an autopsy, and organize an investigation to clarify the matter.

It is known that the child is from Thuong Quan commune (Kinh Mon). On the afternoon of September 20, the child's body was brought back to his hometown for burial.
