On the afternoon of September 20, the leader of Hung Yen Provincial Police said that the unit is coordinating with Gia Lam District Police (Hanoi) to arrest the child kidnapper.
According to the leader of Hung Yen Provincial Police, the unit found the child's body in Me So commune (Van Giang district, Hung Yen).
According to a source, the suspect used to be a maid for the child’s family. After he quit working as a maid, the family still hired him to take the child to and from daycare. During the course of his work, he kidnapped the child and demanded ransom from the family.

Hung Yen Provincial Police said that on the same day, the authorities discovered the girl’s body. The provincial police are coordinating with relevant agencies to examine the scene and perform an autopsy to investigate and clarify the cause of the child’s death.
