"Kid robber" carrying knife commits many crimes at night in Hai Duong city

On January 24, the Investigation Police Agency of Hai Duong City Police announced that the unit had just initiated a case, prosecuted the accused, and issued an arrest warrant for Pham Sy T., born in 2007 in Zone 12, Ngoc Chau Ward (Hai Duong City) and Mac Nguyen Huy H., born in 2008 in Dong Lac Commune (Nam Sach) for the crime of robbery under Clause 2, Article 168 of the Penal Code.

According to the investigation, at around 00:45 on January 20, at the beginning of the old Phu Luong street in zone 6, Nhi Chau ward (Hai Duong city), the two subjects above rode a Honda Vision motorbike (no license plate, no papers) to force and block the vehicle of a woman born in 1968, in Tien Tien commune (Hai Duong city), used an 80cm long knife to threaten her, then took a Samsung A04s mobile phone worth about 3 million VND. The subjects took this phone to sell for 600,000 VND.

Using the same method, at about 2:15 a.m. the same day, in front of house number 46 Tay Hao, Ngoc Chau ward, two subjects robbed 690,000 VND from a woman born in 1972, in zone 3, Thach Khoi ward (also in Hai Duong city).

Expanding the investigation, Hai Duong City Police clarified that the two subjects had committed several other robberies on the night of January 19 and early morning of January 20. At the police station, the two subjects initially confessed that they had committed many robberies together because they needed money to spend.

It is known that before committing the crime, Pham Sy T. was a student at the Hai Duong City Vocational Education - Continuing Education Center. T. voluntarily left the center in December 2023.
