Chi Linh City Police (Hai Duong) have just coordinated to arrest 2 subjects buying, selling and manufacturing firecrackers in large quantities.
At around 3:45 a.m. on December 16, in front of the Hoan Hao restaurant on Nguyen Luong Bang Street, Sao Do Ward, Chi Linh City Police caught Nguyen Van H. (17 years old, residing in Nghia Dung Village, Dai Son Commune, Tu Ky) carrying 4 bags of pineapples on a motorbike without a license plate.
Upon inspection, the police discovered that the pineapple sacks contained box-shaped and round objects, with a total weight of 88.5 kg. H. confessed that all of the above evidence was firecrackers that he and another person brought to sell to a stranger in Sao Do ward.
Previously, at 7:10 p.m. on December 14, at room number 9 of Mr. Nguyen Van H.'s boarding house in Thai Hoc 1 residential area, Sao Do ward, Chi Linh City Police coordinated to catch Hoang Van Cuong (born in 1989, residing in An Lang residential area, An Phu ward, Kinh Mon) red-handed tying cylindrical objects to a main rope, on which were hung 7 cylindrical objects. In addition, the police discovered 125 cylindrical objects and a plastic bag containing black powder in Cuong's room. Cuong confessed that all the cylindrical objects were self-made firecrackers to sell for profit. The total amount of firecrackers seized from Cuong was 7.2 kg.
This is one of the first achievements of Chi Linh City Police in the campaign to attack and suppress crime to ensure security and order for the 2024 Lunar New Year.
