Through patrol and control, the Nga Ba Hang Traffic Control Station, Traffic Police Department of Hai Duong Provincial Police discovered and detained a subject transporting 53 cylindrical objects suspected to be firecrackers.

At around 6:00 p.m. on December 15, at km62+400 of National Highway 5, in Lai Vu Commune (Kim Thanh), the traffic control patrol team of the Nga Ba Hang Traffic Control Station, Traffic Police Department of Hai Duong Provincial Police discovered and arrested Hoang Van Manh, 26 years old, from Van Quan Town (Lang Son) while Manh was transporting a cardboard box suspected of containing an object suspected to be an explosive firecracker. Manh currently resides in Cong Hoa Ward (Chi Linh). When discovered, Manh was riding a motorbike 34C1-49028.

During the inspection, the working group seized 52 cylindrical rolls of various sizes in a cardboard box, with a wire pinned at one end; in Manh's pants pocket was 1 cylindrical roll, with a wire pinned at one end, total weight 7.5 kg.
The patrol team made a record of the incident and handed over all evidence and vehicles to the Investigation Police Agency of Kim Thanh District Police for investigation and handling.
