Previously, on March 23-24, Hanoi National University organized the first HSA exam of 2024. According to statistics from the Examination Council, the HSA 401 exam took place at 8 exam locations including Hanoi National University Examination Center, University of Technology, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Hanoi University of Natural Resources and Environment, Banking Academy, Thai Binh University and Nam Dinh University of Technical Education.

The total number of candidates registered for the exam was 11,157, the number of candidates present was 11,014, reaching 98.7%.

According to statistics, the rate of candidates taking the exam in the first round of 2024 is much higher than the same period last year. During the two days of the exam, 9 candidates were suspended from the exam due to violating the regulations of the Hanoi National University's Competency Assessment exam. Professor Nguyen Tien Thao, Director of the Hanoi National University Examination Center, said that the HSA score report will be sent to candidates by mail after 1 week of taking the exam.

Candidates should note the phone number to receive the letter and look up the postal code for the letter by logging into the HSA exam account at http://khaothi.vnu.edu.vn/. The Hanoi National University Examination Center will announce the score distribution for the March and April 2024 exams in early May.

"According to preliminary assessments, candidates taking the exam in 2024 tried very hard to do the exam, their spirit and attitude towards the exam were more determined than in previous years. The exam took place at the end of March, so candidates were more confident when taking the exam, reviewed and prepared carefully," said a representative of Hanoi National University.

The next 402nd exam will take place on April 6 and 7, 2024 in Hanoi, Thai Nguyen, Hung Yen, Thai Binh, Thanh Hoa, and Ha Tinh, with 18,213 candidates registered.

According to the representative of Hanoi National University, in case candidates do not receive an email notification of the Exam Registration Form, they do not need to worry too much, please log in to your account at https://hsa.edu.vn, go to the Search section (section 4) to have full information about the Exam Room, Registration Number, Exam Time, Exam Location. Please take the exam according to the time and registration number of the corresponding exam session. Candidates should see the HSA exam procedure instructions at https://hsa.edu.vn/lich-thi/thu-tuc-du-thi.

Candidates should note that they do not need to print the Exam Registration Form when coming to the exam, just remember the registration number and exam room. The Exam Registration Form will only be sent to candidates 7 days before the official exam.

This year, the Hanoi National University Examination Center has for the first time deployed candidate identification technology at all examination locations. Candidates are required to present their citizen identification cards and have their images identified when completing examination procedures.

In 2024, Hanoi National University is expected to organize 6 exam sessions and serve 84,000 registrations. The system allows candidates to register for a maximum of 2 exams/year (as of December 31, 2024). Two consecutive exams must be at least 28 days apart. The exam session will automatically close when registration is full.
