Hanoi National University opens registration portal for the first round of capacity assessment exam in 2024

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Tien Thao, Director of the Testing Center, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU), said: This registration round accepts applications for the competency assessment (HSA) exams in March and April 2024.

The first three exam sessions of 2024 (401, 402 and 403) are designed to serve over 51,500 exams at 17 exam locations including the VNU Examination Center, VNU University of Technology, VNU University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Thang Long University, Hanoi University of Natural Resources and Environment, Banking Academy, Hanoi University of Industry, National Economics University, Phenikaa University, Nam Dinh University of Technical Education, Examination Center & Quality Management - Thai Nguyen University, Hung Yen University of Technical Education, Thai Binh University, Hong Duc University - Thanh Hoa, Ha Tinh University, Sao Do University - Hai Duong...

Candidates register for the exam at http:/hsa.edu.vn/ and choose the exam location, exam date, and exam session.

The registration system only allows an account to log in and operate on one computer device at the same time.

The system allows candidates to register for a maximum of 2 exams per year (as of December 31, 2024). The two exams must be at least 28 days apart. The exam session will automatically close when all registration slots are full.

The exam fee is 500,000 VND/candidate/exam and is non-refundable for any reason. Therefore, candidates should read the instructions carefully and consider carefully before paying the fee. After 96 hours, the exam will be automatically canceled if the candidate does not complete the fee payment.

Candidates choosing to take the HSA exam of VNU should pay attention to avoid overlapping with the semester exam schedule of high schools or the exam schedule of the Department of Education and Training organized in early April every year.

The VNU Examination Center will organize the exam from March 23 to June 2, 2024, in Hanoi, Thai Nguyen, Hung Yen, Hai Duong, Nam Dinh, Thai Binh, Hai Phong, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, and Ha Tinh.

Regarding the competency assessment test, high school students will take it on a computer, lasting 195 - 199 minutes, consisting of 3 parts with objective multiple choice questions (choosing answers) and fill-in-the-blank questions in the fields of mathematics (50 questions, 75 minutes), literature - language (50 questions, 60 minutes), natural sciences - social sciences (50 questions, 60 minutes).
