Blue Horse won the Hai Duong Newspaper Cup Chess Tournament for the third consecutive year

According to the Organizing Committee, over the two days of the tournament, the players played a total of 2,909 games. The competitions were held safely and in accordance with the regulations. The results of the competitions reflected the players' skills and the clubs' achievements. The organization and management of the tournament were thorough, fair, and objective.

Based on the results in each category, the top 5 clubs from top to bottom are the chess clubs: Blue Horse, Kim Thanh, Nam Sach, TP Chi Linh and Tu Ky chess. With a total ranking of 19, Blue Horse Chess Club won the overall ranking for the third consecutive time. Kim Thanh and Nam Sach clubs ranked second and third in the overall ranking.

The 12th Hai Duong Newspaper Cup Chess Tournament for Youth and Children in 2024, jointly organized by Hai Duong Newspaper and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, is sponsored by Prudential Insurance. The tournament has 670 youth and children players from 14 clubs in the province participating.

This year's tournament continues to have the participation of players aged 6 and under, 7 years old, 8-9 years old, 10-11 years old, 12-13 years old and 14-15 years old, competing according to the Swiss system.
