On the morning of March 22, the Vietnam Shooting Federation (VSF) met and encouraged the shooters of the shooting team who are preparing for the final Olympic qualifying round.
The meeting with the Vietnamese shooting team included leaders of VSF, High Performance Sports Department 1 (under the Department of Sports and Physical Training) and leaders of the Hanoi National Sports Training Center.
Here, Mr. Do Van Binh - Chairman of VSF decided to reward the national shooting team with 100 million VND. At the same time, he also announced the reward for each medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Specifically: 500 million VND for a gold medal, 300 million VND for a silver medal and 200 million VND for a bronze medal.
In addition, each ticket to the 2024 Olympics continues to be awarded a prize of 50 million VND. Vietnamese shooting has 2 Olympic tickets for Trinh Thu Vinh (women's 10m air pistol) and Le Thi Mong Tuyen (women's 10m air rifle).
The team is currently training hard to prepare for the final Olympic qualifying round in April in Brazil. The shooters who are expected to win additional Olympic spots include Pham Quang Huy, Phan Cong Minh, Ha Minh Thanh, Phi Thanh Thao, and Nguyen Thuy Trang.
