Kinh Mon town delegation won the first prize for the second consecutive time in the Hai Duong Province Journalists Association Chess Championship.

On the afternoon of March 18, after 2 days of exciting and dramatic competition, the 29th Hai Duong Provincial Journalists Association Chess Championship 2025 found the winners of the rankings.

Kinh Mon town won the first prize for the second consecutive year, while Chi Linh city won the second prize. Hai Duong city and Cam Giang district teams shared the third prize.

Leaders of Cam Giang District People's Committee encouraged the oldest player to participate in the tournament.

In the individual event, player Nguyen Van Duan (Kinh Mon) won first prize, player Dang Quoc Hung (Hai Duong City) won second prize. Two players Vu Van Chien (Cam Giang) and Bui Son Tung (Chi Linh) shared third prize.

The Hai Duong Provincial Journalists Association Chess Championship took place on March 17-18, attracting 50 players to compete.

The Chinese Chess Championship is jointly organized by the Provincial Journalists Association, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the People's Committee of Cam Giang District. This year, the tournament attracted 50 players from 9 districts, towns, and cities. This is one of the exciting activities on the occasion of the Mao Dien Temple of Literature Festival in 2025.
