The 29th Hai Duong Provincial Journalists Association Chess Tournament attracted 50 players from 9 participating units.

On the morning of March 17, the Hai Duong Provincial Journalists Association coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the People's Committee of Cam Giang district to organize the 29th Hai Duong Provincial Journalists Association Chess Championship in 2025 at Mao Dien Temple of Literature.
The tournament had 50 players from 9 districts, towns and cities (3 districts Gia Loc, Tu Ky and Kim Thanh did not participate).
The tournament will be held in 2 categories: individual and team. Each unit can send up to 2 teams of 4 players to compete in the team category; the number of players in the individual category is unlimited. Each player has 45 minutes to complete the game. Players compete according to the Swiss system.
The tournament ends on March 18.
