3 mother and children tragically died in a house fire in Hai Phong at dawn

On the morning of February 1, the leader of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department (PCCC&CNCH) of Hai Phong City Police said that a large fire broke out in Co Am commune, Vinh Bao district at dawn, killing 3 mothers and children.

Initial information, at more than 3 o'clock, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Force received a report of a large fire occurring in Co Am commune. Immediately after, two fire trucks of Vinh Bao District Police and 1 fire truck of Tien Lang District Police along with officers and soldiers were mobilized to the scene.

However, at this time, the fire engulfed the entire level 4 house with an area of ​​about 50 square meters. Determining that there were victims, the fire brigade broke the lock and door to get inside, but 3 victims had died from smoke inhalation.

The victims were identified as a mother and her children: Ms. PTX (born in 1981, residing in Thanh Hoa), her son NHĐ (born in 2016) and her daughter PND (born in 2018).

Ms. L's eldest daughter, NPTT (born in 2008), had escaped earlier.

According to the authorities, Ms. L. and her husband, Mr. NHD (born in 1981, from Thai Binh) rented a room here in 2019 to cook porridge for sale. Mr. D. and his wife have 3 children (2 girls, 1 boy).

At the time of the fire, Mr. D. was at work. At around 3:30, he received a report from a neighbor that the house he was renting was on fire.

Currently, the cause of the incident is being clarified by the authorities.
