On November 23, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Luu Van Ban signed a decision to administratively sanction two enterprises in Hai Duong City and Kinh Mon Town for late payment of insurance.
VTC Group Joint Stock Company in Phu Thu Industrial Park (Kinh Mon) and Vi Son Fiber Company Limited in Dai An Industrial Park (Hai Duong City) were each fined 165 million VND for late payment of social insurance, unemployment insurance, and health insurance for employees.
In addition to the main penalty, VTC Group Joint Stock Company is required to pay more than 734 million VND in compulsory social insurance and unemployment insurance to the social insurance agency; and pay nearly 20 million VND in interest.
Vi Son Fiber Company Limited is forced to pay more than 1.5 billion VND in compulsory social insurance and unemployment insurance to the social insurance agency and pay more than 86 million VND in interest equal to twice the average social insurance fund investment interest rate of the previous year calculated on the amount and time of late payment.
In addition to these two enterprises, on the same day, Hoang Hai Nam Company Limited in Cao An Industrial Park (Cam Giang) was fined 101.5 million VND; VNFAS Production and Trading Joint Stock Company in Tan Truong Commune (Cam Giang) was fined 103.3 million VND for violations related to fire prevention and fighting.
