The amount of fines for violations of fire prevention and fighting has increased sharply.

From the beginning of the year to October 14, the whole province had 240 cases of administrative fines for violations of fire prevention and fighting with a total amount of nearly 4.9 billion VND, an increase of nearly 2.8 billion VND over the same period.

According to the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department (Hai Duong Provincial Police), in addition to fines, 109 establishments were temporarily suspended from operation and 43 establishments were suspended from operation due to failure to ensure conditions for fire prevention, fire fighting and rescue.

The Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department and the District Police inspected 7,656 establishments, discovered, guided and recommended to fix 13,354 restrictions. Compared to the same period in 2022, the police agencies at all levels increased by 982 inspections, the number of violations handled decreased by 106, and the amount of fines increased by nearly 2.8 billion VND.

Also during the above period, police agencies at all levels presided over and coordinated the organization of 947 sessions to disseminate legal knowledge on fire prevention, firefighting, rescue, and salvage, with nearly 110,000 participants; disseminated and trained in fire prevention, firefighting, rescue, and salvage at 383 establishments, issued 16,639 certificates; disseminated and guided the establishment of 219 public fire stations, and built 884 "Fire Prevention and Fire Safety Inter-Family Groups"...
